The prix fixe dinner at the Hotel Mac was very good and excellent value. The staff did a great job getting us all out in time for the performance. Following dinner there was a short walk across the road to the Masquers Playhouse, a lovely small intimate location for the play. The play, “There goes the Bride”, was hilarious and professionally acted and like all good farces it was filled with surprises, combining good-natured bawdiness with inspired mayhem. Our own, Norman MacLeod played a very funny role as the dotty grandfather of the bride! It was very well attended by over 50 members and friends of the BBS. We received great feedback in particular, “We found the farce a lot of fun, and I am always amazed at an actor’s capability as shown by “Tim” to carry out such an extended and over-arching verbal and physical performance! Amazing!
